Wm. Alan King, ASLA
Principal and Owner
In May 1999, Alan purchased a small design building firm, Contemporary
Landscape Inc., for which he and Larry Schueckler had worked for a combined 30
years. After becoming president of the firm, he set in motion a plan to raise
the bar for high-end residential and commercial planning. A 1989 bachelor's of
landscape architecture graduate of Texas A&M University, Alan has brought
together a team of design professionals to create an atmosphere that constantly
challenges the status quo of both residential and commercial landscape
architecture.

Larry Schueckler
Landscape Designer
An accomplished artist and sculptor, Larry's eye for detail makes him an
indispensable member of The Land Design Group team. Larry graduated from Texas
A&M University in 1975 with a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture.
Since then, he has honed his talent for recognizing and understanding building
systems and cutting-edge design.
